Chiropractic Marketing Tips – Three Methods to Get Patients Right Now With Your Business Card

Do you take the lowly business card for granted when it comes to marketing chiropractic? Well what if I told you that it could be used to generate lots of new patients, by making three simple changes? That is what you will discover in this article. Let’s get started.

Why Don’t More Chiropractors Get Patients from a Business Card? Quite simply, because it isn’t glamorous, sexy, nor is it written about in our trade publications therefore few doctors give it much thought. The poor lowly business card! Well I’d like to change your mind about this because I’ve been helping doctors make big money from them for years. Here are the three methods you can begin to use right off the bat.

Strategy #1. Make Your Card Unique.

Stop thinking of your business card like its a military dog tag, containing only name, rank, and serial number! If you want outrageous results from your chiropractic marketing, then your marketing must be outrageous. Don’t make it look too professional. Why? Because it will not give you good results. Allow me give you some examples of outrageous business cards that get patients: * One doctor prints his name and practice details onto a Million Dollar Bill! You can imagine the effect. Imagine this doctor leaving his Million Dollar Bill with his tip at a restaurant or giving it to a gas station attendant when he pays for gas. Imagine the impact handing it out at networking functions. * Another doctor printed a card that looks like an x-ray! It has his contact information and I guarantee that nobody will lose his card simply because it is a conversation piece.

Strategy #2: Pattern Interrupt

Rethink your card. Answer this question: “What can I do with my business card to create a Pattern Interrupt?” What is a Pattern Interrupt? The basic idea is that people like to follow a coherent pattern of thoughts. When this pattern is broken, people suddenly pay attention to us. Most people are walking around asleep deep in their own head. In order for them to react to our chiropractic marketing strategies, we should make a pattern interrupt to get their attention. You see, I always want my marketing to go into long term memory. By adding personal connection to your card, you will definately get the attention of many people by the use of marketing methods that creates a pattern interrupt. In plain English, you have to use marketing (and cards) that wakes them, gets noticed, and makes an outrageous connection with people. That’s the secret.

Strategy #3: Look for effective ways to make people not to lose your card.

I make sure that people who have or who will have my card will keep it and value it and make them think that once they lose it, it will create a loss for them. The key is to attach a value to it. How do you do that? On the back side of your card, make it look like a coupon or gift certificate and make them a valuable offer. If they throw away my business card, they will experience a loss of say $100.00 worth of chiropractic services. I just transformed a flimsy piece of card board into a $100 bill, in their minds.
